a more effective way to learn and apply the knowledge we gain everyday
Know more than just the name of something
"I learned very early the difference between knowing the name of something and knowing something."
— Richard Feynman (1918–1988)
Every day we come across new names - of things, companies, technologies, people... and we can't seem to keep up with a way to manage that information.
To add to the complexity, this new information comes to us from all types of sources (books, articles, emails, conversations, to name a few), and in various formats (text, voice, visuals).
How can we quickly synthesize new information, understand what is it ("tisit"), how it connects to our existing knowledge, and how / where can we use that information our daily lives?
How can tisit help?
tisit uses technologies such as natural language processing and machine learning, to capture and process information from various sources. More importantly, after key entities are discovered, tisit continuously and seamlessly connects the existing topics and concepts with new information and represents the broader context of information in personal knowledge graphs.
These knowledge graphs help connect similar topics and recommend adjacent entities that can power anything from new topic recommendations (to make learning more holistic) to filling knowledge gaps.
information from various sources automatically (using APIs to ingest articles, bookmarks, links, and other text) and from the user (through mobile app and voice integrations)
a personal knowledge graph of keywords, topics, entities, etc. that will be continously enriched and seamlessly queried
entities and topics that co-occur - either in sources, or in user searches and queries
When users want to search for topics, deliver adjacent topics and recommendations to complete the context, for a more effective application of that knowledge
